Here’s the first question in our Q&A series! The first question was for Patrick Smith.
Q: Do you use your left hand to stop your horse while you deliver your rope? If so, do you give him a pull every time or just when it feels like your horse is still running in your delivery?
Patrick’s Answer: I only pull when he is too free. Most horses learn to stop off of your delivery. You don’t want them to stop too early but it helps with our delivery when they start their stop as we deliver.
Keep sending us your questions! We’ll get them answered! What do you want to know from Kaleb Driggers and Patrick Smith?
